Arizona Chapter
In 2001, John and Susie McQuade began the journey to find homes for retired racing greyhounds, sighthounds and sighthound mixes. Since the founding of Greyhound Adoption League of Texas, Inc. (GALT), over 4,000 hounds have been placed as a result…and the placements continue to grow. GALTx is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation headquartered in Dallas and has several Chapters and volunteers who make greyhound adoption possible across the United States.
We are a team of volunteers with a long history of successful greyhound placements and focusing on adoptions in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Utah, Nevada and New Mexico. We network with other adoption groups and can assist with sighthound adoption nationwide.

Our adoption fees only cover a small portion of our transportation, vet care, medication, food and more for the hounds in our care. Any donation, large or small, is tax deductible and greytly appreciated.
